This exquisite gown dates to the 1910s and is made of a fine and delicate black and cream chantilly lace fabric. It is light as a feather and so charming! The bodice features a two toned combination of the laces and flutter sleeves. The sash at the waist is silk and is decorated with pink flowers. There are metal hook and eyes down the left side. In overall good condition but with a few breaks in the lace. A small segment of the panel in the bodice will need to be resewn (please see photo #8). I can repair this for the buyer if preferred.
This is one of the most gorgous gowns I have come across from this era. Absolutely superb.
