This remarkable new old stock 1940s slip epitomizes the delicate side of a war era gal! Fine rayon crepe fabric provides a nice light texture and cheery apricot color, while the delicate lace trim along the neckline is flawlessly feminine. Diagonal seams in both front and back are combined with dainty adjustable self fabric straps to give you an excellent fit. The length is slightly shorter than typical for this period and there is no lace at the hem, so it will work under a variety of dresses. Original interior paper tag notes, “Lot Size 36, Rayon,” while the paper price tag, which is still pinned in to the back, tells us that the slip was originally sold at the WT Grant department store. Measures 38 at the bust, up to 34 at the waist, up to 42 at the hip and 29 down the side seam. Fitting S/35 as shown. New old stock slip is in mint condition with no flaws to note.
