Luxite Silk Lingerie and Hosiery Advertisement
Vanity Fair and Van Raalte get all the glory but one of my favorites is Luxite (est. 1915).
Vintage Luxite by Kayser Lingerie Red Gown
With must see lace accents in vamp red!
Luxite by Kayser is seriously underrated, and deserves to be in every lingerie collectors closet.
Kaysor Bondor Ad – “Tailored with YOU in Mind”
Like most lingerie companies they started off by manufacturing silk hosiery.
Starting in the late 40s the designs were curvy and glamorous and
made from the loveliest, sheerest and silkiest nylon ever.
Delicate pink vintage half slip from the 60′s, made by Kayser. Soft nylon with a dainty lace applique at the hem.
So Pretty! Luxite by Kayser
British made 60′s bright blue gown in perfect condition.
Luxite was bought by Kayser (est. 1885) sometime around 1956 and we stopped seeing the Luxite name in ads in 1958. Luxite made some of the sheerest and most feminine lingerie designs and this tulle nightgown is a prime example. All lingerie pictured were found for sale on Vintage Trends.
